What we collect

We only collect what you choose to send us. When you submit an enquiry through this website, that is your name, your email address, and where you provide them your telephone number, the dates you are interested in, the number of guests, and anything you write in the message field. If you enquire from a particular property page we also record which property you were viewing, so that we can answer you properly.

We do not ask for payment details through this website, and we do not run advertising or profiling cookies on it.

Why we use it

We use the information you send to respond to your enquiry, to answer questions about availability and rates, to arrange a stay or a management agreement, and to keep a record of our correspondence with you. Our lawful basis is that processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact our business.

We will not add you to a marketing list on the strength of an enquiry. If we ever send you marketing, it will be because you asked us to, and every message will let you unsubscribe.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them, which is normally up to two years from our last contact with you, so that we can pick up a conversation where it left off. Where an enquiry becomes a booking or an agreement, we keep the related records for as long as tax and accounting rules require. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

Cookies

This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may set a strictly necessary cookie to protect the site from automated abuse. If we add visitor analytics in future, we will use a privacy-preserving service that does not identify individuals, and we will update this policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format.
